Music Basics - Year One (4 - 5 years)

A basic course for young children. This course provides a thorough grounding in the fundamental skills of music making before students start more formal tuition on their chosen instrument. Students learn basic rhythms and pitch discrimination through movement and song, using hand drums and other percussion instruments.

Music Basics - Year Two (5 - 6 years)

This course builds on the Music Basics - Year One course by extending the experience in pitch and rhythm and the use of instruments.

Music Basics- Year Three (6 years and up)

This course is mainly for children who have completed Music Basics - Year One and Year Two. The children will gain experience in playing several instruments in addition to extending musical skills .
